This critical discourse analysis explores the discursive basis of the authenticity crisis the Eurozone as a transnational institution is currently facing, focusing on the Finnish media discussion. Discourses of financial capitalism, nationalism, Europeanism and humanism are shown to play a key role in (de/re)legitimation.
