Annotation

Five studies examine how relative rank is disclosed amid individuals in small groups via their natural pronoun use. Computerized text analyses unveil that natural language use during group interaction indicates that status is connected to attentional tilts, such that higher rank is connected to other-focus whilst lower rank is connected to self-focus.
