Annotation

Drawing from Auer's (2005, 2011) “dialect/standard constellations”, this study explores the dynamics of intra- and interlinguistic convergence as they are linked to the running standardization processes in Italian, Piedmontese, and Occitan in Piedmont. Some adaptations to Auer's diaglossia and endoglossic medial diglossia types are suggested to better fit the specific contexts.
