Annotation
This paper discusses francophone minority discourses of space obtained from members and partners of Moncton, New Brunswick's Centre culturel Aberdeen. The results show that, whereas Aberdeen's imagined space is francophone, other languages are spoken in it. Participants also outline Aberdeen's lived space as bilingual, moderating between anglophones and francophones. These discourses, combined with changes in the Centre's charter, indicate a rising, plural understanding of minority francophone space.
