Annotation

This study points to a considerable impact of frequency level on vocabulary breadth knowledge growth rate and on vocabulary fluency development and to a weak link between vocabulary breadth knowledge and vocabulary fluency, which is influenced by frequency level. Results also state that vocabulary fluency development falls behind vocabulary breadth knowledge growth.
