Annotation

Impressionistic judgments of general capacity confirm the benefits of earlier Japanese as a second language (L2) starters, whereas the relative clause (RC) production tasks in experimental settings disclose that nativelike ability is not warranted even in early child L2 learning after sustained target language (TL) exposure.
