Annotation

This paper proposes that the ability of national identity to either boost or reduce host-nation employers’ perceived employability of and callousness toward immigrants may depend on political affiliation. Additionally, temporary changes in collective self-esteem may arise from priming national identity, and may convey links between national identity and immigrant assessment amidst conservatives.
