This exploratory factor analysis offers a five-factor model of coping with negative social identity, including two individual and three collective identity management strategies, as connected to social and psychological well-being, based on a probability sampling with age and sex stratification of immigrants residing in Spain. The results are debated in the social identity and social disgrace models' framework and from a positive psychology viewpoint.
