This study points out that the structured behavioral selection (SBS) job interview is not fit for an intercultural context, as it does'nt allow to distinguish the required (behavioral) features vital to a job in candidates from another culture. The analyzed data comprise job interviews for entry-level grades in an Australian financial institution. The main results underline the insensible effect of culture on candidate performance, and the forgetfulness of interviewers to this phenomenon.
