This paper explores to what degree recreation partaking, intercultural amity, and college acclimation in the U.S. differ according to international students' home country. Recreation restrictions are negatively linked to amity with host national peers and all students' college adaptation measures. Recreation restrictions mainly subsist for non-European international students, who also mention less social adjustment and college devotion than their European counterparts.
