Annotation
This study examines the supposition that humorous stimuli in the shape of a film cartoon could enhance children's ensuing creativity scores on the Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking (2006). The mean overall task creativity score under the humorous condition though appears lower than the one under the non-humorous condition. Potential accounts for these findings in the relatively novel domain of humor use in education, are reviewed.
