Annotation

Asperger's syndrome individuals score significantly lower on cheer and higher on gravity. They score low on scales linked to social communication (affiliative humor, humor entertainment) and represent a more socially chill humor style. They also score low on penny-wise humor, and employ less adjusted (self-uplifting) and more maladjusted humor styles (self-destructive humor). Finally, they favor absurdity-resolution humor, constituting a more reality-minded processing style.
