Annotation

Using 4 data sets (on political satire (TV consumption)), this paper values the theorized 11-item Affinity for Political Humor (AFPH) model (with 4 lower-order latent factors: absurdity, dominance, fear reduction, and social cohesion) and various alternative models employing confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). Additionally, it offers dependability and validity ratings.
