Annotation

Framed by Bourdieu's (1977) social capital theory, this paper indicates the broader impact of pragmatic and social capital-linked factors in dialectal codeswitching among Arabic-speaking Al-`Keidaat Bedouins in Syria, than the often cited status of particular language varieties.
