Annotation

This paper analyzes how three of the four colleges of the South African KwaZulu-Natal University are successfully using isiZulu as additional medium of instruction, via the theoretical views of transformation, African Renaissance and scholarship, and higher education Africanization. It is shown that Indigenous languages can adequately serve as academic media of instruction.
