Annotation

There is a clear demand for more Gaelic medium education (GME) teachers, given increased primary and secundary enrollment since 1985, which may not be properly handled via present initial teacher education (ITE) purveyance. This paper reviews the challenge present teacher provision and education trends pose to national language-planning efforts.
