Annotation

Using Spolsky's framework for language policy analysis, this paper discusses de facto language policy as experienced by study participants in English-medium degree programmes (EMDPs) in German higher education (HE), clarifying daily linguistic practices and the pragmatic and ideological roles of English and German in reported experiences.
