Annotation

Second language learners’ cross-linguistic semantic awareness of first language-second language semantic differences is crucial in L2 vocabulary learning, as shown in a sample of Chinese English as a foreign language learners. Given the swaying evolution of such awareness prolonged (pedagogical) consolidation is required.
