This study deals with stance-taking towards Chinese white collar migrant workers around the circulation of two Chinese media discourse phrases (i.e. he kafei and 18 nian de fengdou). By classifying the stances of three social groups, it underlines the dynamic extensive and developing character and features of modern Chinese discourse.
