This article demonstrates Omani students' predilection for speakers and accents taken to be from the UK, albeit students also approve of Arabic native speakers. Where the NES (native English speaker)/NNES (non-native ES) variable remains persistent, no notable distinction in student's teacher (trust) ratings was found.
