This paper examines the four spaces (structural, social, “rationalization” psycho-physiological) sensitive to language contact, deals with the notion of ‘viewpoint’ in the process of epistemic construct, and addresses language mixing, drawing on Schuchardt's little red book on Slawo-deutsches und Slawo-italienisches (1883).
