Annotation

This paper ponders the use of videoconference for distant courtroom testimonies. Camera shots are realized as meaningful actions in videoconference settings, and are sensitive to the sequential environment of courtroom interaction. Wide shots visually underline collective forms of speakership or susceptibility. Such camera motions visualize a specific member's interactional capacity. Members can routinely identify subtle changes in participation frames on the fly.
