Annotation

Unlike former research results on vernacular and hybrid hip hop language, this case study shows that young Copenhagen rappers increasingly employ more monolingual, standard linguistic practices in their YouTube hip hop productions, an evolution linked to both classic educational standards and artistic ambitions in a specific ethnographic and sociolinguistic context.
