This study explores the variety of discursive, sociotechnical interactions in the Wikipedia community using a data-driven online ethnography. Marked differences loom as to the way human editors communicate with other humans and bots in the course of both article composition and personal interactions. Eight interactional dimensions in cooperative knowledge production are distinguished.
