Annotation

This inquiry into the linguistic landscape (LL) of Dingle, a popular south Irish touristic location within the Gaeltacht borders, -providing a unique scenery for exploring prevailing matters in the sociolinguistics of globalization-, underlines how minority languages, such as Irish, are applied as valued symbolic and cultural resources in the context of local tourism and how this may affect the local political economy of language.
