Annotation

This paper claims that ethnolinguistic vitality research may be enhanced by new scales to assess the particiaption of ethnic groups' own institutions in favoring their native languages and traditions in situations where conventional institutions do not provide any (in)formal help, as based on findings regarding differences between perceived institutional and community support among Chiapas indigenous students.
