Annotation

A medium to strong connection subsists between Omani university students' suppositions concerning the Native English (NE) status of an English as a foreign language teacher and their judgments of the teacher's accent as an apt pronunciation model, especially amidst students who assert that having a NE teacher is expedient for ameliorating pronunciation.
