Annotation

Israeli university students with problems in reading academic texts in English are demanded to follow reading comprehension classes in English for academic purposes (EAP) in order to finish their BA degree. This study points to the significance of motivational matters in language acquisition. Connections were found among EAP class grades, stances toward university studies, and stances towards language acquisition and English.
