Research on processing instruction (PI) impact on L2 Grammar acquisition hitherto mainly targeted American college students learning a foreign language over a short time. Thus, conclusions drawn from the PI literature, viz. that neither explicit information (EI) nor production practice (PB) help beyond structured input (SI), are still not by a long way generalizable.
