This paper sketches the narrative structures, emotional component -with focus on crying-, and sense-making aspect of trauma narratives in which migrant women share their experiences while laboring for cruel employers. Peer support seems vital in narrators' efforts to rewrite their life stories from duppering to and beyond survival.
