Taking a Bourdieusian approach to modern Swedish academic discourse, habitus, entextualization, and translingual practice are used for exploring the space of Swedish in the text production of two disciplines where English rules in publishing. Researchers do not want to employ what is socially perceived as improper discourse in their translingual practices.
