This paper examines a French talk-in-interaction practice, formally marked as other-repeats initiated by the change-of-state particle ah, performing a receipt claim, and indicating as somehow deficient a former turn by the receipt speaker, thus adding to research on intersubjectivity management, and liability management for processing ‘fit’ turns and actions.
