Annotation

Across a sample of urban-dwelling Asian and Black adults in the U.S., POB (U.S- vs. Foreign-born) impact is only attested for race-linked stigmatization and lockout, not for menace and workplace prejudice. Except some minor gender effects, sociodemographic variables did not mediate this impact. Younger age at immigration and longer U.S. residence were also positively linked to higher levels of observed prejudice. It is argued that expanding acculturation may mold the experience and sensation of racial and ethnic bias.
