Comparing modern Belarusian oral political (MB), non-Belarusian, and prior Socialist jokes, MB's appear mainly reworkings from jokes from other countries and about other persons (not inevitably political), continuity stretching far beyond the swap of jokes between stratocracies. MB's are chiefly uppish, mocking the system and the president, and from an emic view, it is shown how extensive the concept of political humor can be.
