Annotation

British graphic satirists' humor of art-horror expanded in both theory and practice during the second half of the18th century and adverts to the interest of inanity in evaluating modern life. These satires represent an obsession with death and present a salient example for modern political satires that involve aggression and dupering for humorous impact. Utter inanity raises a set of distinct viewer replies and imparts modern satire a troubled edge.
