This conceptual article examines a special comprehension of politeness, to wit via the consideration of attentiveness, which also meets the growing demands to explore interpersonal relations given the evolution of interpersonal pragmatics and the highly valued evaluation in the discursive approach. The attentiveness concept and its workings are explained by the process of demo and appraisal.
