Annotation

This study examines pragmatic development in young Norwegian English foreign language learners, focusing on request strategies at various development stages ((8, 10, and 12 years old) and pupils' sensibility for social power as contextual factor. Obvious pragmalinguistic (but hardly any sociopragmatic) development patterns appear.
