Recently, the social relevance of language studies has become a factor in the academic rivalry for research funds. This study critically renders how its language research team deals with knowledge mobilisation via the conceptualisation, elaboration and direction of the Jyväskylä Discourse Hub research endeavor and its website (www.discoursehub.fi). Drawing on nexus analysis, it examines the terms and effects of collaborative knowledge mobilisation, particularly in terms of generating dialogue among various actors and as a means of raising social relevance of language research.
