Annotation

The reverse 2009 script reform policy measures of China and Japan in response to globalisation forces, the former reducing and streamlining its script to make it efficient in digitalised settings, the latter increasing its (Chinese) script to counteract the impact of digital media, both remain indifferent towards language rights and social justice matters induced by their respective policies.
