Annotation

This study proposes a range of pedagogical steps for teaching (and assessing) complaint conduct in L2 or FL English, and for reporting on some communicative impact of complaints from cognitive relevance theory with the aim of promoting learners’ meta-psychological awareness. Complaint production postulates meta-pragmatic awareness of inter alia their interactive value and functions.
