This study examines how Internet methods can be enlaced with more classic, face-to-face data collection methods. A project exploring Spanish-speaker opinions on several Spanish dialects worldwide, exemplifies how on- and offline methods can mutually enlighten one another, together enabling both specificity and generalization of discoveries, and an generally more thorough grasp of a given symptom of concern.
