L. establishes the synonymy between marked and unmarked forms for plural in Cuzco Quechua, discusses the question of how forms that are unmarked for plural are interpreted as plural, and studies the factors constraining variable inflection of nouns and verbs for plural. Results are compared with similar ones for Spanish.
