Annotation

It is believed that Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) increases students' foreign language competence. Questionnaire responses of 221 CLIL students from the Autonomous Basque Community disclose that participants valued all language aspects and chose group work and active class participation in the early grades, though this fervor faded with time. Longitudinal data demonstrate that their perceived English progress was higher in their CLIL than in their ordinary English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classes.
