This paper examines the semantic and syntactic processing differences between native and second languages in early high competent Kannada–English bilingual adults via precision and reaction time (RT) calculations. Results back the belief that sentence processing occurs at superficial level and are debated in relation to aspects like second language learning age, and bilinguals' competence and exposure levels.
