Annotation

This paper explores the notion of queer latinidad in Phoenix, Arizona in order to grasp how queer Latinas/os in Phoenix consider themselves in relation to Latino communities, queer communities, and a queer Latino community. The construction or rejection of this notion might muck up traditional community notions and obelize community boundaries by underlining the racial and ethnic variety of the (supposed Anglo) lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) community, as well as the gender and sexual diversities of the (supposed heterosexual) Latino community.
