Annotation

This paper explores self-reported experiences, especially regarding informal linguistic interactions, of adult learners partaking in a Galician language and culture course. It discloses the sorts of problems faced by students, but also indicates how minoritized language programs might to some degree countervail the absence of immersion furnished by the social context. It also points to the role of student agency in the production of micro-immersion contexts.
