This study discusses how, in a case study of a child raised in the context of bilingual first language acquisition in English and (minority, heritage) Bulgarian, reactivation after a short period of Bulgarian production loss (1;7–2;3), was eased by a slight input and social setting shift during a 10-day journey to Bulgaria.
