This longitudinal analysis reveals that Muslim immigrants (n = 379) to the US (from 2006 to 2012), who employed Facebook more for social interaction with the ingroup, were less culturally inspired to adjust to the dominant US culture, and even considered it as more negative as their Facebook use grew.
