In personal interviews, nine organizational leaders in Poland and Russia described (dis)trust in their organizations. Trust was perceived as essential for organizational prosperity in both countries, albeit working within a culture of distrust, and building trust described as grounded on communication in known relationships and confirmable outcomes.
