This study systematically explores and compares how main US and Chinese newspapers depict climate change from 2005 to 2008. The results demonstrate (dis)similar images, clearly molded by both countries' sociopolitical realities, and culturally informed explanations are presented. A debate on improved research outline and focus for future research on this topic is proposed.
